Your Child's Other Activities
7. What other activities does your child currently do outside of Feel Dance Studio?
List each activity and approximate hours per week. Be as honest as possible — this helps us understand the full picture.
Activity Hours / week
Something to consider. Your child's schedule shows significant hours in other activities. Competitive ballroom dancing requires sport-specific neuromuscular training — hours in ballet, gymnastics, or other disciplines do not transfer to ballroom results. The Scholarship Athletes track is designed for students whose primary athletic commitment is ballroom. If ballroom hours are significantly lower than other activities, we'll need to discuss realistic expectations together before placing your child on a competitive track.
8. How many hours per week do you expect your child to dedicate specifically to ballroom dancing (lessons + practice)?
1–2 hoursStudio lessons only, no extra practice
3–5 hoursLessons + some practice at home
6–9 hoursSerious commitment, regular practice
10+ hoursBallroom is the primary focus
Expectations & Communication
9. How important is regular feedback from the instructor to you?
1 = not important at all  ·  5 = very important
10. Is there anything specific you are worried about or want us to know?
Optional — but very helpful for us.
11. What would make you feel that this studio was the right fit for your family?

Before you submit

Competition results in ballroom dancing are directly tied to the number of ballroom-specific hours per week. Time in other disciplines — ballet, gymnastics, soccer — does not substitute for this. The Scholarship Athletes track is reserved for students whose primary athletic commitment is ballroom dancing at Feel Dance Studio.

Competition results depend on ballroom-specific training hours — not on time spent in other sports or dance disciplines.
The Scholarship rate ($85/lesson) applies only when all track requirements are fully met every week — no exceptions.
